Below you will find a list of vendors that will be present at the convention. Each vendor has a unique mission to help homeschoolers in our community thrive. We are so thankful to each and every vendor and their commitment to this mission!

  • Classical Conversations is a proven Christian homeschool program created by parents for parents. We do this through a Christ-centered and family-friendly approach to homeschooling that makes everything biblical and hospitable, focused on three simple key areas: Classical, Christian, and Community. Our vendor booth will display many of the resources needed for participation in our programs. We will have experienced tutors working the booth ready to provide explanations and answer questions. Currently, there are seven campuses of Classical Conversations in and around the Charleston area.

  • Legacy Christian Home Schools is a home school support group made up of and serving like-minded families in the Charleston area. Legacy is a non-profit cooperative venture designed to help families provide guidance and support to one another in the vitally important job of educating their children in a manner that is consistent with their profession of faith in God.

  • The mission of CCPRC is to improve the quality of life in Charleston County by offering a diverse system of park facilities, programs and services. In addition to the over 11,000 acres of property owned by the park system, CCPRC also offers a wide variety of recreational services – festivals, camps, classes, programs, and much more, including homeschool programs we would love to share with the community.

  • Drama Kids Charleston South offers award-winning, education curriculum for Daytime Home School acting, creative drama, and musical theater classes for ages 4 - 18 at our Johns Island studio located at 2052 River Road D. We are Charleston County School District vendor approved, serving schools since Fall 2022 and partner with City of Charleston Recreation Department at Hazel Parker Playground for workshops, classes and camps. Drama Kids International serves more than 50,000 after school students across the nation. Our sister company, The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy is the world's largest acting school, started in 1979, and serves more than 100,000 students in 38 countries! Drama classes improve public speaking, group problem solving, and independent creative thinking.

    Beach Cowboy Fitness is a non-profit, private fitness studio specializing in gym classes for homeschooled and special needs youth and young adults. We offer homeschooling parents structured programs for their children where they become more physically fit and learn essential life skills in problem-solving, communication, and leadership. For parents with neurodiverse children and young adults, our inclusive and adaptive fitness classes provide your child with opportunities for socialization, weight loss, and strength-building.

  • We address the social and economic challenges facing our state. The main way we do this is by assisting families with Medicaid, Marketplace, and Medicare. We also provide resources to kids and families health, wellness, and the community and give referrals to other organizations for issues we don't deal with specifically.

  • I am an experienced, long-time homeschool art teacher and mentor (online). I work with families personally to make sure they get the attention and particular training they need. Stirring up dormant creativity is my "superpower". I can award teens a high school Fine Arts credit (and do all the needed paperwork and grading.

  • Home School STEM teaches online Computer Science classes for homeschool teens with an emphasis on cybersecurity.     Students in the local Charleston, SC area can participate in our competition cyber team. We field some of the most competitive teams in the the state of South Carolina in the US CyberPatriot program and the Palmetto Cyber Defense Competition (PCDC).

  • We are a University Model Classical Christian High School, which is a hybrid school. We offer a 3 day option with classes on campus 3 days, also a 4 or 5 day option with guided study sessions on the extra days. We also offer upper level science and math classes as a co-op option along with a senior level offering complete with internship options.

  • I am a music educator who has written an online music curriculum, Music Appreciation through Storytelling, for homeschoolers. I teach through storytelling, games, and puzzles to foster each child’s creative gifts while learning about sound, the instruments of the orchestra, and composers and their musical stories.

  • We are a paint-your-own-pottery studio that also offers clay classes. We have a homeschool "Mud Club" that meets twice a month to create a project out of clay and we always have so much fun!

  • The James Island Learning Co-op is a nature based co-op currently welcoming families with children ages four through six with plans to grow with our children. We meet three to four days per week to explore group learning experiences and provide the children with time to play freely together in nature.

  • I have a handwriting tutoring business and I have just added math tutoring services. My goal is to provide a unique learning experience to the community and homeschool families by teaching simple techniques for handwriting development and or remediation.

  • Our book, Copper and the Tree Frog: The Night Heron Nabbing, is a fun, wholesome book full of laughs and educational nature facts. The book is set in the Charleston area and authored by a homeschool dad of two, Mike Jones. Copper and the Tree Frog has been popular with homeschool families with children ages 7 to 12+, and it makes a great read-aloud as well as one that even reluctant readers have enjoyed. We're excited to have the opportunity to participate in the Blossoming Together Homeschool Convention again this year, where we'll also be able to share the next adventure in the series, Copper and the Tree Frog: The Opossum Apocalypse!

    Parents and children have mentioned how much they’ve enjoyed the laughs and the educational elements of the book, and it makes a great read-aloud or reader for homeschool families. The story takes place in Charleston with many familiar Charleston landmarks, and it was written by a homeschool dad as well!

  • At Home In The Lowcountry Homeschool Association has served home educators in South Carolina since 2007. We have grown to be one of the largest third option associations in the state. We offer a variety of unique services to our members. A graduation ceremony for seniors is held each May.

  • Oak and Sparrow Learning Lab was created to allow homeschool students to learn in an interactive fun environment. They make new friends while learning together.

  • Discipled Youth Academy is a faith based community for 4th-12th graders. We are an active and exciting program designed to help families with every step of the homeschooling process. We meet two days a week and have instructors for Science, History, Spanish and Art. Students bring in their own curriculums for English and Math, we have tutors that are there to help. We also include our amazing clubs: Drama, Entrepreneurs and Creations.

  • Turning Point USA is a nonprofit student organization that empowers students to share their beliefs through peer-to-peer conversations, eye-catching materials & resources, and exciting events. TPUSA High School chapters learn about the Constitution, American exceptionalism, and free enterprise. Students gain valuable leadership skills and training while sharing the values of freedom with their peers. Students are able to bring the ultimate patriotic club to their community by starting a TPUSA Students chapter.

  • Brighter Outlook Vision helps children with reading, learning, and focusing issues caused by underlying vision problems. Being a good reader goes beyond seeing 20/20, we must also track words, focus our eyes, use both eyes together, and over a dozen other skills.

  • As a local children’s lit writer for middle grade readers (ages 8-12), the book series (THE ISLANDERS) I’ve co-written with local novelist Mary Alice Monroe… our books serve as positive, educational, and relatable stories that celebrate our coastal landscape and encourage children to spend more time outdoors exploring nature through this three-book series.   • FAME Performing Arts is a locally-owned and community-oriented studio dedicated to fostering an inclusive space where students can thrive in their pursuit of music lessons, performing arts classes, after school enrichment, and engaging summer camps.   • Hub of Curiosity is a new, online co-op experience owned and operated by me. I am a veteran homeschool parent of 3 neurodivergent teens. I have been teaching on Outschool since 2018 and have recently expanded my presence on the platform to create a co-op with a wide variety of classes. We are an ideal resource for kids with niche interests to connect with friends who share their interest, working parents who struggle to participate in in-person co-ops, and kids who just can't get enough co-op days in their week (like my 3rd kid ;-)).
